Unlocking the browser with the desktop app

With the desktop app open and unlocked, the browser extension unlocks by itself, and locks when the app does.

Pair them

1. Open and unlock the Vallkey app.
2. In the extension, open Account › Vallkey desktop app…, and choose Pair with the Vallkey app.
3. Both show a code. If they match, choose Allow in the app.

Unpair

In the app, Account › Browsers lists paired browsers, each with Forget. In the extension, choose Stop unlocking with the app.

Browsers installed through Flatpak or Snap can’t reach the app, so they can’t pair.
