Vallkey can’t reset your master password: nobody but you can open your vault. These are the ways back in.
With your recovery code
- On the sign-in or unlock screen, choose Forgot your master password?
- Check your email address, and choose Email me a code.
- Enter the eight-digit code from the email, the recovery code from your Emergency Kit, and a new master password.
You get a new Secret Key, and every device is signed out. Sign in again on each with your new master password and Secret Key. Your items, vaults and shares are unchanged.
With your family organizer
In a family, choose Ask my family organizer. Your organizer sees your request; you each read a code aloud to check it’s really you, and they let you back in.
If you have neither
Your vault can’t be opened, by anyone. Start a new account, and set up a recovery code this time.
