Deleting your account

Before you delete

Deleting can’t be undone, and we can’t bring anything back: we never had the keys.

• Export your vault if you want to keep anything. See Exporting your vault.
• Keep your files too. Choose Vallkey with files when you export, and the files kept with items come along.
• Tell the people you share with. The vaults you own are deleted for everyone they’re shared with.

Delete

Open Account, choose to delete your account, and enter your master password.

What’s deleted

The server deletes your account with every vault you own, every item and file in them, and every session. Your device wipes its own copy.

Vaults that other people shared with you stay theirs. You’re taken off them.

If you only want to stop paying

You don’t have to delete anything. When a paid plan ends, your account becomes Free, and everything Free includes keeps working.
